AIM’s Film & Television Production course prepares you to write original stories and capture global audiences using cinematic tools.
We will teach you the magical art of storytelling, equipping you with the skills to inspire and move audiences through diverse cinematic tools. From the outset, you will be immersed in all aspects of the creative journey, from ideation and creative writing through to scriptwriting, production, directing, cinematography, sound and post-production editing.
While providing a sound basis, in theory, AIM balances practical experience with a comprehensive acquisition of core skills. As a Film & Television Production graduate, you will be technically and aesthetically proficient in all areas of film and television production and, through project-based collaborations, you will develop a diverse portfolio, ranging from comedies to music videos, documentaries and commercials.
COURSE SCHEDULE: Students will receive up to 120 Hours of Classroom theoretical and hands-on practical instruction. 6 hours per week for 20 weeks. Another 4 weeks will be given for student to produce a final project.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to:
- Write scripts for commercials, films and documentaries
- Produce and direct films, documentaries and dramas
- Edit videos and films with artistic awareness and technical expertise
- Design film and Television sets for production use
- Instruct and communicate with other professionals using industry standard lingo
- Handle Film and Television equipment correctly and with care
- Able to join any Film or Television set as a junior crew member and work effectively

As a Film & Television Production student, you will gain a competitive edge over your peers by earning an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) certification in:
- Video Communications using Adobe Premiere®Pro.
From the outset, you will have hands-on access to the latest equipment, including sound studios and computer labs, you will be taught by practitioners, enjoy early industry exposure and are encouraged to create exportable and monetizable content from their first day in school.

Applicant Must have the WASSCE/SSSCE certificate or working experience for not less than one year.Applicant must have a proof of their working experience.
