Our History

The journey of establishing a creative training center to encompass a highly dynamic educational platform where young creatives get the training, resources and mentorship to turn a passion into a profession actually started with a man who turned his passion into a profession too.

For years, dominating the music industry as a Sound Engineer and a Film Maker, Mr. Paul Daniels now a Reverend Minister have always wanted to create opportunities for the younger ones and impact them with vocational skills by providing professional level multimedia education with state-of-the-art facilities to all potential students.

In 2007, he started Daniels Multimedia, a training intuition to provide certificate education to students in the fields of Sound Engineering, 3D Animation, Film & TV Production and Graphic Designing. The school became the first multimedia training school in Ghana. It saw over 500 students graduate to become professionals ready and equipped for their respective careers in the Creative Industry of Ghana and beyond.

The school enrolled both local and international students through gaining a global recognition per the quality of creative education and training it provided to its students. Daniels Multimedia was later changed to DMM Training Center in 2010.

By 2013, DMM had gained an excellent reputation and built successful partnerships with Ghana Technology University to offer Advanced Certification to students for our courses.

As a result of constantly seeking for new ways to improve our curriculum and training, creating the best and impactful learning environment for our students, and enlarging our vision for multimedia education in Africa, DMM formally rebranded to Advanced Institute of Multimedia (AIM) in 2019, to offer professional courses at Diploma Levels.

Reflecting this exciting progress. Today, we bodly take pride and joy in the achievements of some of our Alumini like Kuami Eugene (VGMA Producer of the Year 2019 Winner), Genius Selection (VGMA Sound Engineer of the year producer 2019 Nominee) and DDT Beatz (VGMA Producer of the Year 2019 Nominee), Sammi Asanti (Multimedia Presidential Camera Man) who are doing extremely well in their respective fields as a result impactful training they received from us.

We are still seeking to create more successful professionals in the Creative Industry to help the contribution of creatives to the economy.
